The small print, written plainly.

PodMatch Inc. ("PodMatch", "we", "our") operates the PodMatch matching network at podmatch.com. This page summarizes the legal agreements that govern your use of the platform. By creating an account you accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy in full.

We collect account information you provide (name, email, podcast metadata), authentication events, usage analytics, and the content of on-platform messages for safety and matching quality. We do not sell personal data. We do not train third-party models on your messages.

Data is used to (a) match hosts with guests, (b) operate the platform, (c) protect against abuse, and (d) communicate product updates you have opted into. Matching uses on-platform signals - your podcast metadata, rating history, and topical preferences.

We share data with (i) subprocessors who help us run the service (hosting, email, analytics) under data processing agreements, (ii) law enforcement when legally required, and (iii) parties you explicitly authorize via platform actions. Account data is retained while your account is active. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days except where retention is required by law (tax, fraud, audit). Aggregated, non-identifiable data may be retained indefinitely for platform analytics.

You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time via Account → Privacy. EU/UK residents have additional rights under GDPR. California residents have rights under CCPA/CPRA. Contact privacy@podmatch.com for any rights request - we respond within 30 days.

All traffic is encrypted with TLS 1.3. Data at rest is encrypted with AES-256. We run annual SOC 2 Type II audits, continuous penetration testing, and a public bug bounty program. In the event of a breach affecting personal data we notify affected users within 72 hours.

We use strictly-necessary cookies for authentication and session state, and opt-in analytics cookies for product improvement. We do not use advertising cookies. Visitors from the EU/UK see a full consent banner on first visit.

PodMatch is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact support@podmatch.com so we can verify and remove it.

Material changes to this policy are announced 30 days in advance by email and in-app banner. A full revision history is available at podmatch.com/legal/changelog.
