Find the Right Role for You

Every role makes a real impact on podcast creators. Choose one that matches your skills and interests - or combine multiple roles for a richer experience.

Show Notes Writer

Transform podcast episodes into compelling written content. Listen to episodes and create detailed show notes, timestamps, key takeaways, and SEO-optimized descriptions that help shows get discovered.

Time: 3-6 hrs/week

Skills: Strong writing skills, attention to detail

Community Moderator

Help manage and grow the PodMatch community spaces. Moderate forums, welcome new members, facilitate discussions, organize virtual meetups, and ensure community guidelines are followed.

Time: 4-8 hrs/week

“I started volunteering as a show notes writer while finishing my communications degree. Within six months, I'd built a portfolio of work for 30+ podcasts, landed a freelance writing gig, and made connections that led to my current full-time role in podcast marketing.”
